1.採卵したその日のうちにパック詰め
CO・OPマークのたまごは、採卵したその日のうちにパック詰めした新鮮なたまごです。たまごには賞味期限表示が義務付けられていますが、それだけではいつ採卵されたものなのか、購入する側には分かりません。コープでは、賞味期限とあわせて採卵日をパックに記載し、採卵された日が一目で分かるようにしています。
賞味期限と採卵日を両方表示しています
鮮度の違いは、濃厚卵白の盛り上がり方でわかります。

2.たまごの温度管理で鮮度を維持
コープデリ宅配の場合、コープで取り扱っているたまごは、パック後に温度を下げて、物流の拠点である集品センターへ冷蔵車で輸送し、通い箱にセットする段階でたまごが確実に10℃以下になるように物流を組み立てています。コープデリのお店の場合も、温度管理を行って輸送し、冷蔵のショーケースに陳列しています。
3.サルモネラ菌を独自に検査
サルモネラ菌については、各農場で自主検査を実施しているのはもちろん、安全性を補完するために、コープでもコープネット商品検査センターで独自に検査をしています。
